TotLogic Body Lotion - Original Scent

Thick and rich, without many of the harmful ingredients of other lotions.

This is a really nice natural body lotion. It is made of some really great, natural ingredients, and this particular TotLogic lotion is not scented. There is literally no scent to it whatsoever.

It's a pretty thick lotion, so it takes a little longer to rub in and absorb into the skin. However, once it does, it truly does work. It moisturizes and hydrates your skin, and it has a lasting effect. I live in Arizona, which is a very hot, dry climate. My skin, particularly my shoulders, back, legs and hands, are always dry and cracking. This lotion is working wonders to keep my skin hydrated. It no longer has that alligator appearance it often used to. Plus, I feel good about using it with the ingredients it contains.

I use it on my feet as well, which tend to get calloused and cracked in the summer when I'm wearing sandals all the time. It has really helped moisturize my feet, and keep them smoother.

I realize it's expensive, but I think it's worth the price. Especially if you have children that you are concerned about exposing to certain ingredients, or if anyone in your household has allergies to certain ingredients.

I wanted to try the non-scented lotion first, just to get a feel for how it works without anything else in it. I don't always need a scent, but sometimes it's nice to have. It can be soothing or calming to have a scent. I was also going to purchase their lavender scented lotion, but since I already had lavender essential oil, I just added a few drops into this bottle. Even better, so if you like the scent of lavender, and you're considering purchasing that scented lotion, go for it! It's a calm, soothing and relaxing scent.

I love how gentle and soothing this body lotion is for using on my daughter‚s skin. It comes in an 8 fl oz plastic bottle with a flip cap lid. The lotion is a lightweight consistency and has a nice subtle lavender citrus smell from the natural ingredients and essential oils. I like the combination of ingredients it contains which are very soothing and hydrating for sensitive skin. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, DEA, MEA and PEG along with being made in the USA which is always important to me when purchasing products to use for my family.

I like to apply the lotion to my daughter‚s skin after she has taken a bath. It has a creamy light texture and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It really helps to sooth and hydrates her skin and locks in moisture leaving her skin soft. She has very sensitive skin and dry patchy spots and this lotion does not cause any irritation and has helped to moisturize those dry spots. Overall, I am happy with how the product is working and I love the natural ingredients.

I actually bought this for myself because a lot of children's gentle products work very well with my sensitive skin issues. I was eager to try this because it was free of parabens and phthalates, was plant based and natural, and was hypoallergenic. Additionally, it's cruelty free and vegan. These things on their own are a recommendation. The natural lavender smell is heavenly and calming without being overpowering.

The ingredients contain aloe, sunflower oil, cetearyl alcohol derived from coconut oil, vitamin B5, olive oil, bergamot essential oil, lavender essential oil, and lime, lemon, and sweet orange essential oils. The lotion is more light weight than a cream moisturizer (as you can see in the attached photo), but it moisturizes very well, absorbs completely, and is non-greasy. I haven't had any negative skin reactions, but my skin has been very well moisturized and I haven't had to apply this as often as other body lotions. It's also helped soothe some skin patches that are especially dry and/or itchy as well, specifically around the ankles, knees and elbows. Because this lotion moisturizes so well, I don't have to reapply as often as I do with other brands. This bottle has already lasted me longer than bottles twice it's size.

I try to have a few chemical-based products around the house, especially those that are used on the body. I was excited to try the Totlogic Lavender Bliss Body Lotion. I was very happy to see what was not on the ingredients. I did not see any form of paraben – does it cause cancer; I would rather be safe than sorry. It does contain a lot of natural ingredients like aloe and a bunch of different oils. I have tried this used this on an elderly lady with sensitive, but very dry skin. It helped immensely in hydrating her skin. She still has a way to go but with regular use of this product, I hope to see her skin looking and feeling healthy again.

For me, the name says in all about the scent. I love a lavender scent in body products and this one is great. It is subtle and not overpowering that would be unpleasant for anyone wearing it as well as those around the person wearing it.

There are additional pluses for the Totlogic Lavender Bliss Body Lotion. It is made in the USA. It is not tested on helpless animals. If you are into the vegan lifestyle, this is a product for you. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good lotion for babies, children and adults – people of all ages. As with any product, check make sure that the person to use it does not have any allergies for any of the ingredients.
